I usually start my daily design work with plans and elevations under My-Nga’s guidance. Throughout the day, I also do some massing and exterior studies for some projects, as well as preparing the presentation package for meetings.

“Think about the big picture.” That advice changed how I think about our work. At Lucien Lagrange Studio, we have abundant knowledge of building and construction, and we never stop learning and developing.

My interest in architecture started when I was an undergraduate. I was studying in China and I took an elective course, “Western Architecture History”. I then came to the United States and started my Masters program. I learned not only the design skills and software but also time management and the ability to work with others.

As an architect, you never want to swim with the stream. We’re distinct because we insist on providing a delightful and emotional architectural environment.

We try to make clients feel valued and protected. When you focus on doing good design, you can build something that meets the needs and wants of the client and the community.
